Sizzling-hot summer afternoons are just perfect for frosty, slushy beverages, don't you think? If you love sweet strawberries and just a little bit of lemony tartness, I'm willing to bet you'll love this recipe as much as we do.
It's pretty much a flavor explosion in a glass!
Clean a half quart of fresh strawberries and toss them into the blender with about 1/3 cup sugar.
Pour in the juice of one lemon and fill the rest of the container with ice cubes.
Process until smooth.

Pour into tall glasses, garnish with lemon slices, and sip slowly!

sounds YUMMY! I've recently discovered Sonic's Strawberry Fruit slush and it sounds VERY similar, minus the lemon. It is basically strawberries sugar and ice blended together and is quite heavenly. I'll have to give this a try, I know I'd like it.

Yeah, you gotta try the lemon. It'll kick it way up!
