100th Blog Post and Another Give-Away, More or Less!
Because I don't have anything better to do...ahem....I have been stichin' as fast as my fingers can fly to finish the little bloggity give-away in celebration of my 100th post.
Such a momentous occasion.
You might remember before Christmas I mentioned a piece of redwork what I was working on for an unnamed recipient. Well, truth be told, the stichin' was not completed and the recipient, who shall remain a mystery to everyone else but me, never received said gift.
That is where you come in.
This little piece of creativity is destined to become a pillow that would be pretty on a bed or chair. I promise it will be lovely. You'll just have to trust me on this one.
If you would like to win this, just leave me a comment, telling me how much you love my blog or some other such nonsense, and I'll put your name in the drawing. (Click at the bottom of this post where it says "...fun and interesting people said..." That will take you to the comment page. You can sign in as "anonymous", and still put your name at the bottom of the comment. If you are totally averse to leaving a comment, then email me (thomastemple at bellsouth dot net).
Also, when you leave your comment, I'd love you to do two things: tell me what you want to do MORE of this year, and tell me what you want to do LESS of.
I'll start by saying that I want to be more content with what I have and less worried about what I think I need.
What about you?

hi again--you asked about the yellow wall color. It is a Martha Stewart color---but I had it made up from an older card and I don't know if she still has that color. It was called SOLEIL 8186. One of those rooms used to be a very bright shade of yellow and I used this to tone it down. One of the other rooms had been red--it was just too dark for me after a while--this yellow color is warm and calming.
Love your blog and recipes, but mostly I love the friendship we share and the joy of quilting! Where do you find the time to blog and quilt!!! Jean
We don't just love your blog, or your family tid-bits and fabu recipies... we LIVE for it!!!
Congratulations on your growing fanbase!!!
Love
